Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of getonto.org. They cover the website itself—not the consulting work GetontoTM performs under a signed agreement.

Last updated · 18 September 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing getonto.org you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These terms are between you and Getonto Inc., 1 Dundas Street W, Suite 2500, Toronto, ON M5B 2H1, Canada.

2. Relationship to consulting agreements

Consulting engagements are governed by separate signed agreements—proposals, statements of work, master services agreements or engagement letters. Nothing on this website creates a consulting relationship, an offer capable of acceptance, or a commitment to perform services.

Where these terms conflict with a signed service agreement in relation to those services, the signed agreement controls.

3. Permitted use

You may view, browse and share the website for lawful business and personal informational purposes, and print or download individual pages for your own reference.

4. Prohibited activities

  • Interfering with, disrupting, probing or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure
  • Scraping, harvesting or bulk-extracting content for republication or model training without written permission
  • Reproducing, reselling or commercially exploiting content, frameworks or methodologies without written permission
  • Introducing malicious code, or using the site to transmit unlawful, infringing or misleading material
  • Impersonating GetontoTM or misrepresenting an association with GetontoTM
  • Using the site in breach of applicable law or these terms

5. Intellectual property

The website and everything in it—design, layout, structure, copy, graphics, illustrations, diagrams, three-dimensional scenes, photography, video, code, downloads and reports—are owned by GetontoTM or its licensors and protected by copyright and other rights.

The GetontoTM name, logo, wordmark and brand assets are trademarks of Getonto Inc. Proprietary frameworks, models, diagnostics and methodologies presented on this site remain the property of GetontoTM, whether or not registered.

No licence is granted except the limited permission described in section 3. Requests for permission: legal@getonto.org.

6. Your submissions

Information you send through the enquiry form or by email should not include confidential or sensitive material before an appropriate agreement is in place. By sending material, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant GetontoTM permission to use it for the purpose of responding to you.

Feedback and general suggestions may be used without obligation or compensation.

7. Third-party websites

The site links to other websites, including Getonto.ca, Getonto.in, Getonto.io and Getonto.biz, and to external publications. GetontoTM is not responsible for third-party content, availability or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

8. Accuracy and availability

Content is provided for general information and may change without notice. We take reasonable care, but do not warrant that content is complete, current or error-free.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the site.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind—express, implied or statutory—including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and freedom from interruption or malicious code.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in that case, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetontoTM and its directors, officers, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Liability arising from a consulting engagement is governed by the signed agreement for that engagement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify GetontoTM against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the website, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of another party’s rights.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or withdraw access to the website, in whole or in part, where necessary to protect the site, other users or GetontoTM, or where these terms are breached.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction over disputes relating to the website.

Where mandatory consumer-protection or local law grants you rights in your country of residence, those rights are not affected. Before formal proceedings, we ask that you contact legal@getonto.org so the matter can be resolved directly where possible.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The revision date appears at the top of this page, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.

15. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement regarding your use of the website, and do not affect the terms of any signed consulting agreement.

No failure to enforce a provision operates as a waiver.
